Bike Rental Agreement

Please read these terms before renting a bike from On The Go Recreation Limited ("OnTheGo"). By booking or renting a bike, online or at a station, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Assumption of risk

  • You understand that riding a bike involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, injuries and property damage.
  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of our bikes, releasing On The Go Recreation Limited and its employees from liability.

2. Rental eligibility

  • The minimum rental age is 12 years. Our current fleet is adult-sized only.
  • A valid ID (passport, driver's licence, NIDA or Z-ID) is recorded by On The Go Recreation Limited on your first booking.

3. Rental period and operating hours

  • Our stations operate from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day.
  • The rental period begins at pickup and ends when the bike is returned and locked at the station where you picked it up.

4. Prices and fees

Day Ride — one bike for up to 8 hours$10
Same-day re-pickup — returning a bike and requesting to pick one up again on the same day (administration fee)$5
Late return — for each extra day a bike is not returned by closing time (10:00 PM) on the rental day$10 / day

5. Cancellations and refunds

  • Cancelled 24 hours or more before pickup: full refund.
  • Cancelled between 6 and 24 hours before pickup: 50% refund.
  • Cancelled less than 6 hours before pickup: no refund.

6. Bike condition and use

  • The bike is provided in good condition. Any existing damage must be reported before leaving the rental location.
  • You agree not to misuse or modify the bike.
  • You are responsible for any damage, loss or theft during the rental period.

7. Safety equipment

  • Helmets are provided with every rental and should be worn at all times.

8. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify On The Go Recreation Limited from any claims arising from your use of our bicycles.
